ABOUT

I consider myself an eternal student of the healing arts, music enthusiast, sound nerd, hopeful mystic, sun worshipper, world traveler, dog lover, endless dreamer…  My own healing path has lead me here to you.  I share what I know from experience, with empathy, patience, and integrity.  I have found there is so much wisdom and insight to be gained from being fully aware of the stories we tell, the places we have been, and the voices in our head.  I am reminded everyday how quickly time passes, and how important it is to do something worthwhile that the heart longs for, and to move beyond the things that keep us stuck.  This requires knowing and loving ourselves, being in tune with our deepest desires, courage, and genuine support.

What do you you dream of?  What is holding you back from pursuing it?  How can I serve you in your endeavors? 

I believe life has a way of showing us that letting go of the barriers within us that inhibit our fullest expression can be just the remedy that propels us forward into our greatest vision for our lives.  If we are willing, we can discover that we are the only ones standing in the way of our possibilities and unique magic, and that transcending our perceived limitations is achievable.  I am passionate about creating a nurturing and safe space for others to be authentic and self-reflective, so that they can step into purpose and empowerment while letting go of all that does not serve.  Know you are worthy, and know there is always support for you.  As long as we trust that there is more for us in our lives, we can be inspired to faithfully move in the direction of greater healing, fulfillment, and joy.

Lucy

Lucy Child is a certified sound therapist, singer, musician, teacher, and intuitive guide.  She has been leading sound meditations and holistic workshops in New York City for the last decade.  Lucy performed as a singer songwriter in New York City’s downtown indie music scene before exploring the profound healing benefits of sound.  In 2008, she proudly released her first full length album ‘Mirrors and Folly’ with musician and producer Jimi Zhivago.  She holds a Master of Science in Education from New York City’s Hunter College, and is a 2011 graduate of the New York Open Center Sound and Music Certification Program.  Lucy has studied many spiritual traditions and healing modalities including Andean Energy Medicine Cosmology in Peru, Ecuadorean Shamanism, Usui Reiki, and Intuitive Guidance and Mentorship.  She is dedicated to empowering others and illuminating their creative path through an integrative approach that seeks to encourage heart-centered alignment, inward awareness, and self-love.
